Mr. Udovychenko has over 27 years of legal experience, working for 19 years as judge of the Kharkiv Regional Commercial Court, Kharkiv Commercial Court of Appeal, and, in particular, working from 2004 to 2018 as a judge of the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Udovychenko strengthened ADER HABER in 2018 as Head of Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring.
In his public activity Oleksandr Udovychenko served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine participating in the preparation of summary judicial practice on bankruptcy; a member of the Working Group on Judicial Reform at the President of Ukraine; a member of the Council of Judges of Ukraine; Chairman of the Council of Judges of Commercial Courts of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the High Council of Justice; and also contributed to the development of the Code of Bankruptcy Procedures in Ukraine.
For his successful career, Mr. Udovychenko was awarded the title of the Hon ored Lawyer of Ukraine, Order for Courage of the III grade an d “Defender of the Motherland” Medal, as well as many departmental awards. In 2017, Oleksandr Udovychenko was named “The Best Judge of the Year in Bankruptcy” within the framework of the Competition Law Forum held by Ukrainian Bar Association.
